Jaime Vazquez-Catoira will join the Drexel tennis coaching staff as a new assistant for men's and women's teams. Vazquez-Catoira will also persue a master's degree in sport management.
A native of La Coruna, Spain, he graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in business and a concentration in marketing.
Vaszquez-Catoira has had international experience, ranking as high as No. 70 in Spain. As a player for VCU, Vaszquez-Catoira had a successful career, receiving Second Team All-CAA in doubles for the 2011 season, followed by Third Team All-CAA in singles in 2012.
He was named captain of the VCU men's squad in 2012 and 2013 and was ranked #36 in doubles and #113 in singles by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
