2015-16: Earned six wins on the season as a rookie, including a win-by-fall 45 seconds into his match in Drexel’s 48-0 victory over Sacred Heart…also had a technical fall against San Francisco State in the Road Runner Open, where he placed sixth overall at 157 pounds.
Background: Named Wrestler of the Year by The Morning Call…third-place finisher at states and southeast regional champion in 2015...PA District XI champion and Outstanding Wrestler award winner in 2015…regional runner-up and district champion as a junior and placed third in regionals and was runner-up at districts as a sophomore…placed fifth in states as a sophomore and eighth as a junior...finished his high school career with a 137-25 record.
Personal: Son of Mike and Mary Ann Comunale…has two sisters, Rheanna and Melissa…Rheanna graduated from Drexel in 2012…majoring in sport management.
