2008: Started two games and went 1-1 before going down with an injury that hampered her for the rest of the season…posted career highs in at bats, runs, hits, doubles, RBIs and walks…recorded her first career double on April 2 at St. Peter’s…went 1-for-2 with an RBI against Alabama State on Feb. 15, also recorded a season-high five strikeouts on the mound. 2007: Appeared in 20 games and made six starts…closed out two combined shutouts and earned one save on the season…tossed a complete-game two-hitter with a career-high eight strikeouts against Maryland – Eastern Shore on March 28.
2006: Led Drexel with two saves, the most by a Dragon since 1995…held opposing batters to a .243 batting average…threw a one-hit shutout against the Univ. of Maryland – Eastern Shore on April 20, 2006, also recorded her first hit in the contest…ranked 10th in the CAA in lowest opponent batting average.
Background: A four-year letterwinner at East Providence…also played varsity basketball for three seasons…four-time member of All-Area and All-Division First Team…a second team all-stater in 2004…member of All-State First Team in 2005…served as team captain for two seasons…member of student council.
Personal: Daughter of Mark and Ann Shattuck…majoring in education.
