2009: Earned NFCA First Team All-Region honors…named First Team All-CAA as a catcher…set Drexel single-season record for slugging percentage (.617)…put together a 16-game hitting streak from Feb. 20 to March 21, the longest in school history…tied program’s single-season record for career home runs (18)…posted third highest batting average in Drexel history (.397)…led the team in batting, hits, doubles, home runs, RBIs, slugging and on-base percentage…became the fourth player in Drexel history to drive in 80 runs during her career.
2008: Led Drexel and ranked among the top five in the CAA in batting average (.387), slugging (.613), hits (58), RBIs (39), doubles (13), home runs (7), sacrifice flies (7)…ranked second in the NCAA in sacrifice flies per game…ranked nationally in batting average and doubles per game…set new Drexel single-season records with seven home runs, 13 doubles and 39 RBIs…named CAA Player of the Week on March 31…posted team’s longest hitting streak of the season, nine games from Feb. 29 to March 15 also recorded an RBI in nine consecutive games during the span…homered in three straight games from March 23 to March 25.
2007: Earned CAA Co-Rookie of the Year honors in her freshman season…selected for CAA All-Rookie Team…led team in extra-base hits…posted highest slugging percentage ever by a Drexel freshman (.533)…ranked among top 50 in the nation in doubles per game, smacking 10 on the season to lead the team…Drexel’s top hitter in conference play, batting .420 in CAA games…ranked sixth in the CAA in batting average in conference games.
Background: A four-year member of the softball team at Coyle and Cassidy High in Taunton, Mass…also played volleyball for two seasons…named to Tauton Gazette All-Scholastic Softball Team all four years…twice named Brockton Enterprise All-Scholastic Team…selected to the Boston Globe All-Scholastic Team as a senior…set a new career RBI mark at Coyle and Cassisy by driving in 90 runs in her four seasons, surpassing the previous record of 79…member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society…a Boston Globe Scholar-Athlete nominee in 2006.
