Alyssa Guido joined Drexel's staff in the summer of 2021. She was promoted to associate head coach during the spring of 2022 after helping lead the Dragons to their first-ever Colonial Athletic Association championship.
Guido joined the Dragons staff after spending the 2021 season as an assistant at Holy Cross. She assists in overseeing the offense and works with the goalies.
Prior to her time in Worcester, Mass. with Holy Cross, Guido spent two years as the head coach of Maritime College. Maritime battled to a 4-1 record in 2020 before its season ended prematurely due to COVID-19. In her first season at the helm, Guido guided the Privateers to an 8-6 record with a 4-3 mark in the Skyline Conference during the 2019 campaign, with the program posting its first-ever winning season and making its first Skyline Conference playoff appearance. Guido was named the 2019 Skyline Conference Coach of the Year, while four of her players earned all-league recognition.
Prior to her time at Maritime, Guido served as a coach, director and account manager with Team 91 Lacrosse. She managed multiple girls' and boys' youth travel teams on Long Island and in Westchester, including oversight of coaching staffs and event directors. Guido also played professionally with the Philadelphia Force of the United Women's Lacrosse League in the summer of 2017.
Guido spent her collegiate career at Stony Brook under the wing of former Drexel coach Kim Hillier. A four-year letterwinner, Guido totaled 77 points, 28 goals and 49 assists in 68 career games played. Guido helped Stony Brook to an overall record of 72-11 during her four years, with the Seawolves winning four straight America East regular season and tournament titles, in addition to making four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances.
