Amanda Norcini joins the Drexel women's lacrosse coaching staff as an undergraduate assistant for the 2015 season. Norcini will complete her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering while helping coach the Dragons.
Norcini joins the coaching staff after an illustrious career on the field for Drexel women's lacrosse. The 2014 Mary Semanik Award recipient, Norcini was a four-time All-CAA honoree. She set a Drexel program single-season record with 34 caused turnovers during her senior campaign, and finished her career second all-time in program history in that category with 84. Norcini, a midfielder, also earned 132 career draw controls, second all-time at Drexel.
Norcini was a First Team All-CAA honoree as a junior and senior. Those recognitions followed a Second Team nod as a sophomore and an All-Rookie distinction as a freshman. She also received the CAA Commissioner's Academic Award in each of her four seasons. Norcini graduated from Conestoga High School.
