Maeve McKew joins the Drexel coaching staff after a distinguished playing career at the University of Maryland. McKew also has been an instructor at several lacrosse camps.
McKew was a two-year starter for the Terrapins where she helped the team compile a 70-15 in her four years. As a senior, McKew led the team to an Atlantic Coast Conference Championship and a berth in the Final Four. Maryland earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament in all four of her seasons.
McKew has worked as an instructor at the Maximum Exposure Lacrosse Camp since 2008 and also served as an Elevate Lacrosse Coach since 2007. She will be working toward her master's degree at Drexel while she is a member of Drexel coaching staff.
