Bio
2018: Made six appearances...had two saves each against Georgetown (2/24) and at No. 17 Penn State (3/14)…picked up three ground balls against Elon (4/22)…a CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll honoree.
2017: Appeared in four games for the Dragons, putting up a 10.40 goals against average and .500 save percentage in 74:58 of total playing time...had five saves and allowed just one goal in nearly 20 minutes of action at American (2/25)...stopped six shots, allowing three goals, in playing the entire second half against Penn State (3/29)...also made appearances at Albany (3/19) and against James Madison (4/21).
2016: Made four appearances, playing a total of 42:47 on the year…had four saves in a season-high 33:12 against No. 9 Princeton (2/24)…in total, recorded five saves on the season…her save percentage was .313...a CAA Commissioner's Academic Award recipient.
Background: A four-year letterwinner and starter at James Madison High School in Vienna, Va....helped the team to a pair of Liberty District championships (2012, 2013), as well as two Liberty Conference championships (2014, 2015), a Northern Regional championship (2013) and a VHSL State title (2013)...First Team All-Liberty Conference in 2014 and 2015...a two-time All-Northern Region selection, including a First Team choice in 2014...First Team All-State that year as well...named All-Met Honorable Mention by the Washington Post in 2014...the 2015 Liberty Conference Defensive Player of the Year...also a two-year captain of the swimming and diving team, where she was a diver.
Personal: Daughter of Amy and Gerard Heerink...intends to major in engineering...member of the National Honor Society.
