2009: One of Drexel’s co-captains in 2009…strong and vocal leader who is an aggressive force on the field…appeared in only eight games due to injuries…started three times…fired 11 shots.
2008: Played in all 19 matches as a sophomore…can play up front and in the midfield…handed out a pair of assists…set up the game-winner in Drexel’s win at Georgia State.
2007: A member of the CAA’s All-Rookie Team…scored a pair of goals, both game-winners…named the league’s Rookie of the Week after scoring the team’s only goal in a 1-0 win against Northeastern...also scored vs. NJIT…played in every match and made 15 starts…second on the team with 19 shots.
Background: A four-year letterwinner at Bishop Eustace Prep...named First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-South Jersey...helped her team to win conference and state championships in 2004 and 2006...her team was ranked first in the state and region and 10th in the nation...also participated in varsity track and crew for two seasons...member of National Honor Society.
Personal: Daughter of Gianfranco and Valentina Chiarelli...her sister Carla played softball at Rosemont College and twin sister Gina also plays soccer for Drexel...majoring in communications.
