
Podgurski Takes Two Events in Loss to Binghamton

Binghamton, N.Y. - Craig Podgurski won the 200 and 500 free but the Dragons fell to Binghamton, 147-94, in a road non-conference meet. The freshman touched the wall at 1:45.23 in the 200 and 4:50.85 in the 500 yard events as he continued his impressive rookie campaign.
Armagan Yavus won the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:56.22 with teammate Mert Karsiyakalilar taking second finishing 0.24 seconds behind. Ian Jevnick took the 3-meter dive as he scored 261.90, besting Ryan Graham by just 1.80 points.
The Dragons return to action for a home meet as Drexel hosts Towson on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 2:00 p.m.
