Dragons Split Pair of Home Matches

Philadelphia - The Drexel wrestling team defeated Columbia, 22-19, but lost to Binghamton, 27-9, as the Dragons wrestled in a pair of dual matches at the Daskalakis Athletic Center. Steve Mytych and Billy Haydt were the only Dragons to go 2-0 on the day.
Mytych won by forfeit against Columbia then earned his 32nd win of the season with a 10-5 win over Tyler Malmberg. Haydt earned a 5-4 win over Victor Mocco of Coilumbia then defeated Brett Nelson of Binghamton, 5-2. Ryan Hluschak was upset by Binghamton's Nate Patterson, 10-6.
Drexel returns to action Thursday, Feb. 21 with a road match at Rutgers. The first match starts at 7:00 p.m.
