Newark, Del. - Drexel women's swimming & diving dropped a dual meet a Colonial Athletic Association rival Delaware, 212-81. Freshman diver Megan Halicek took first place on both the 1-meter and 3-meter board while junior Maria Coman turned in a second-place finish in the 100 back.

Maria Coman took second in the 100 back with a time of 1:01.27 as she finished behind only Courtney Raw's time of 58.22 but 0.70 faster than the third-place time of Alexandra Brown. Meg Smith took third in the 100 free as Smith finished behind Erinne Butler and Mary Kay Harris. Smith's time of 56.13 was 2.07 seconds off of Butler's event-winning time. Megan Halicek won the 1-meter board with a score of 277.87 then toppled the Delaware competitors on the 3-meter board. Halicek racked up a score of 292.57.

Drexel returns to action on Tuesday when the Dragons host Rider in a non-conference meet at Drexel Pool.
