Philadelphia - The Drexel women's lacrosse team will host American in the Dragons' first appearance at Vidas Field of the season on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 4:30 p.m. The game was originally scheduled to be played in Washington D.C. but poor field conditions led to the move to Vidas Field.
The Dragons won their season opener as they downed Virginia Tech, 13-9. The game will be the first of the season for the Eagles. Last year, Becca Drylie-Perkins, Mariana Uribe and Charlotte Wood recorded three goals each as Drexel defeated American 10-6 on Vidas Field. Jaclyn Klunder chipped in with three assists, all on Drylie-Perkins goals, while goalie Lauren LaBella allowed just four goals and made eight saves in recording the victory.
