No. 11 Dragons Host No. 8 Hofstra Saturday on The Comcast Network

The Drexel men's lacrosse team opens its Colonial Athletic Association schedule on Saturday afternoon Hofstra at Vidas Field. The Dragons are ranked 11th in both major polls this week, while the Pride is No. 8 in the nation. The game begins at 4 p.m. and can be seen live on The Comcast Network.
The Dragons begin play with a 7-2 mark overall. Drexel defeated No. 8 Lafayette on Sunday, 12-11. Adam Dennis scored his third goal of the game with just 15 seconds left to give Drexel the win. Colin Ambler and Scott Perri each picked up four points, while Mark Manos made 15 stops in the cage. It was Drexel's second win against a top 10 team this season. Perri is tops on the team with 16 goals and 30 points. Ambler has a team-high 15 assists and is second on the club with 27 points. Freshman Robert Church leads five players in double figures scoring with 17 goals. Manos has a 7.37 goals against average and a .623 save percentage. He ranks in the top five nationally in each of those categories.
The Pride is 5-2 after defeating Army on Tuesday night, 17-2. Hofstra's Jay Card returned against Army, after missing the UMass game and had five goals and eight points. Kevin Ford added three goals and two assists while junior Stephen Bentz added two goals and two assists. The Pride lost its CAA-opener against UMass last weekend. Jamie Lincoln leads the nation in scoring with 5.3 points per game. He has 21 goals and 14 assists.
