Philadelphia - Drexel's Katie Lawson, Sarah Bauer and Alyse Maiden were honored by the Colonial Athletic Association as the trio were selected the league's All-Conference teams. Lawson and Bauer were named Second Team All-CAA while Maiden was picked for the All-Rookie Team.
Lawson had a breakout season for the Dragons as she led the CAA in goals with 50. She became just the second Drexel player ever to record 50 goals in one season and finished her career eighth on the Dragons' all-time goal scoring list with 113. She scored four or more goals in seven games during her senior season.
Bauer is the first Drexel defender to be named Second Team All-CAA. The junior led the team with 18 caused turnovers and picked up 19 groundballs while defending the opposition's top offensive player. Bauer also totaled 10 draw controls on the season.
Maiden moved into the Drexel starting line-up toward the end of the season and proved to be one of the team's top offensive players. She ranked fourth on the team with 16 goals and 19 points. She totaled a career-high four points on three goals and an assist in the Dragons' 17-10 victory over conference-foe Old Dominion.
