Women’s Lacrosse Hosts Binghamton on Sunday

Philadelphia - Drexel women's lacrosse hosts Binghamton in the second game of six straight home contests on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Vidas Field. Drexel enters the weekend 3-1 after defeating Bucknell last weekend, 19-3. This marks the first all-time matchup between the Drexel Dragons and the Binghamton Bearcats.
Drexel's Charlotte Wood tied her career-high with six goals in the team's home opener at Vidas Field last Sunday. The junior standout now has 18 goals and two assists on the season. Senior goalkeeper Whitney Johnson has 21 saves, while freshman Amanda Santandrea made nine stops for the Dragons.
Binghamton dropped 1-4 on the season after a 12-7 loss against Canisius. The Bearcats' lone win was against Niagara, 20-8. Junior Lis Zuern leads Binghamton in goals scored. The Bearcats will take on Monmouth Friday, March 11 at 4:00 p.m before coming to Philadelphia.
