Women’s Lacrosse Travels to Towson for First Conference Match-up

Philadelphia - The Drexel women's lacrosse team travels to Towson for its first Colonial Athletic Association game of the season on Friday, April 8 at 4:00 p.m. Drexel enters the weekend 6-3 after falling to Johns Hopkins last Wednesday in the finale of its six-game homestead at Vidas Field.
Towson leads the all-time series 27-1. In their last meeting, Drexel played Towson close in the first half, leading the game early and twice coming back to take a lead before the Tigers made a run before halftime to pull away with a 12-8 victory. Becca Drylie-Perkins led the Dragons with three goals and an assist. while teammate Katie Lawson added a pair of goals. Goalkeeper Whitney Johnson recorded 15 saves.
The Tigers improved to a 5-5 overall record after a 9-8 double overtime win against Delaware last Saturday. Towson also defeated Denver, Temple, Richmond, and George Washington. Senior attacker Jess Dunn leads the team with 22 goals.
