HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Drexel University softball team makes the trip this weekend to Harrisonburg, Va. to face the No. 20 James Madison Dukes in a three-game conference series. The two teams play a doubleheader on Saturday, April 27 starting at noon followed by a single game on Sunday at 11 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Drexel won an 8-0 game over Penn on Thursday in a six-inning, run-rule performance. Linda Rush led the way for the Dragons at the plate as she went 3-for-4 with a home run, double and three RBI. Elena Woulfe went 2-for-4 with two RBI while Kristi DiMeo was 1-for-3 with two RBI. Brooklyn Daly (W, 15-6) picked up the win as she threw 5.0 shutout innings, allowing just two hits while striking out three.
IN THE NATION
As of games on April 25, the team continues to rank top 15 in five categories: runs per game (seventh, 7.26), batting average (seventh, .338), doubles per game (eighth, 1.74), on-base percentage (10th, .419) and slugging percentage (15th, .540).
Linda Rush ranks first in total bases (143), first in runs per game (1.33), second in RBI (69), third in hits (69), seventh in slugging percentage (.941), eighth in home runs (19), 11th in doubles (17), 12th in batting average (.454) and 15th in on-base percentage (.541) as of April 25.
Rush and Kristi DiMeo rank first and second in RBI per game at 1.50 and 1.45 while they are second and third in total RBI at 69 and 68.
LOOKING AT JMU
No. 20 JMU is 38-7 on the year and currently riding a 10-game winning streak. The Dukes are at the top of the conference standings with a 14-1 mark.
Megan Good was selected as one of the 26 finalists for the 2019 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year. In her final campaign, Good holds a 15-5 record in the circle with wins over No. 7 Tennessee, No. 19 Oregon and No. 22 Virginia Tech. She broke the program's single game strikeout record with 17 against Towson on March 31. Good leads the Dukes with a 1.66 ERA through 131 innings and has tallied 143 strikeouts. At the plate, Good boasts a .363 batting average with 45 hits, 15 home runs and 52 RBI. The redshirt senior has drawn a team-high 33 walks and has an on-base percentage of .500.
