SECOND QUARTER – Drexel 9, Dartmouth 3
Harris came out firing in the new quarter, netting her 50th goal of the season, taking the ball from the left wing, driving across the goal mouth, and sending it top shelf. The tally opened the floodgates as a pair of scores from Grady and one from Schneidereith in a span of 1:07 pushed DU up 6-1 at the 12:11 mark of the frame. After a tally from the Big Green, Harris, Drake, and Dean each netted a goal, the last coming on a player-up opportunity as the Dragons took a 9-2 lead, eventually taking a six-goal lead into halftime.
THIRD QUARTER – Drexel 10, Dartmouth 5
Dartmouth came out better on both ends of the field to start the second half, scoring the first two goals of the stanza and cutting the lead to 9-5 at the midway mark of the third period. Bennett came up big for Drexel as the period went on, making three saves. The last of her stops led to a counterattack and goal by Grady with seven seconds left in the frame, helping the Dragons to go up by five heading into the final quarter.
