PHILADELPHIA- Drexel will look to get in the win column on Tuesday when Lafayette comes to Philadelphia. The Dragons and Leopards face off at 5:30 in the second game of a double-header at the Vidas Complex on Tuesday.
About the Dragons
Drexel opened the season with a 12-7 loss against UMBC on Saturday. The game was back and forth early before UMBC pulled away early in the second half. Luke Tomak returned after missing a season due to injury and had a big day. He scored a career-best four goals. Preseason CAA Preseason Offensive Player of the Year Jack Mulcahy had a goal and two assists for the Dragons.
About Lafayette
The Leopards have already played three games this season. They defeated Sacred Heart on Saturday, 15-8. The Leopards lost their season-opener to Penn State and then fell to Delaware. In the win against Sacred Heart, Peter Lehman scored five goals to lead the club. Lafayette scored six goals in the first quarter on its way to a four-goal lead and never looked back.
