Dragons Fall to Stony Brook in their First CAA Meeting

STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The Dragons fell to No. 6/7 Stony Brook 15-3 from New York on Sunday afternoon. The contest was the inaugural matchup between the teams as CAA opponents. Drexel is now 7-4 and 1-2 in conference play.
In the second half, Hayleigh Simpson, Corinne Bednarik, and Lindsey Dean scored for DU. Jenika Cuocco earned 11 saves and added two groundballs.
Drexel returns home to face CAA opponent, Elon on Friday, April 7. The opening draw on LacrosseTV will be at Noon.
