PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Tori Yost scored her first career goal as the Drexel women's soccer team (3-5-3) drew with Hofstra (4-2-5) 1-1 at Vidas Field Thursday night. With the tie, the Dragons keep their undefeated streak at home alive with a 3-0-2 record.

The Dragons were able to strike first in the 29th minute. Grace George attempted a cross that was broken up into the box. Yost collected the ball and fired with the right foot from beyond the penalty mark, scoring just over the Pride goalkeeper to give DU the lead, 1-0.

Hofstra responded early in the second half. After beating the Dragon defender, Dagny Run Petursdotttir booted a shot of her own past the box. Petursdottir's attempt hit the crossbar and fell into the net to tie the game at one apiece.

Drexel returns to Vidas on October 6 for their second consecutive home game as they battle Elon. Action is set for 1 p.m.
