Dragons Fall for the First Time at Home to Elon, 1-0

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Drexel women's soccer team's (3-6-3) undefeated streak came to an end as the Dragons fell to Elon (9-1-1) Sunday afternoon, 1-0.
The Phoenix scored the only goal of the match in the 79th minute. After a deflection off the Dragons, Jenna Abousaab dished the ball to Ashlee Brehio on the left side of the field. The Junior fired through the bottom of the net with the right boot to break the scoreless streak. This was Brehio's second tally of the year, with Abousaab recording her first assist.
Joella Chase had five saves at goalkeeper for the Dragons, including four in the first half.
Drexel returns to the pitch as they battle rival Delaware on October 10. Action from Stuart & Suzanne Grant Stadium will kick off at 6 p.m.
