Drexel Holds Delaware to a Scoreless Draw, 0-0

NEWARK, Del. - The Drexel women's soccer team (3-6-4) battled Delaware (6-5-3) to a scoreless draw Thursday night in Newark, Delaware. This was the first scoreless bout for the Dragons since September 8, 2022, when Drexel held Temple to a 0-0 draw.
Both teams had great opportunities to score throughout the match. Drexel outshot the Blue Hens 10-7, with the Dragons collecting four shots on goal. Liv Brocious and Tori Yost each had early chances that the Blue Hens keeper saved. Yost had four shots, with two on goal.
Joella Chase had one save, as the graduate student earned her third shutout of the season. Additionally, six different Dragons played the full 90 minutes of the match.
The Dragons return to Philadelphia as they take on Northeastern on Sunday, October 13. Action will kick off at noon.
