Alyssa Guido Named Assistant Coach for Philippines Women’s National Lacrosse Team

PHILADELPHIA - Drexel women's lacrosse associate head coach Alyssa Guido has been named an assistant coach for the Philippines Women's National Lacrosse Team. Guido will serve as the offensive coordinator and oversee the draw control unit for the team at the ASPAC Women's Lacrosse Championship - World Qualifier on January 6, 2025 in South East Queensland, Australia. The top four teams in the qualifier will punch their tickets to the 2026 World Championships in Japan.
Guido helped lead the Dragons to a 13-6 record and a fourth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament, the first team to do so in Drexel history. Drexel finished the season ranked 21st in the ILWomen/IWLCA Division I Poll, with wins over Penn State and Navy.
