O'Donnell and Geiger Set to Compete in Fourth Season of Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse

SPARKS, Md. - Drexel Mary Semanik Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Katie O'Donnell and assistant coach Katrina Geiger will compete in the fourth season of Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse. Opening night of the longest-running professional women's lacrosse league is set to kick off on Thursday, July 18 from the USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Spark, Md. Both O'Donnell and Geiger have been a part of the league since its inception in 2021.
O'Donnell finished her career a Penn State with 203 goals and 227 points. The former Nittany Lion was named an IWLCA First Team All-American as a senior and was drafted fourth overall in the WPLL Draft by New England in 2018. This past season, O'Donnell guided the Dragons to a 13-6 record, securing an at-large bid for the program's fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, the first team in Drexel history to do so.
During her collegiate career, Geiger was a two-time captain for Loyola University and played on five teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Drexel's defense finished top-15 in the nation in back-to-back seasons under the leadership of Geiger, allowing just 9.17 goals per game.
Action from the four-week tournament can be seen on ESPN and Bally Sport RSNs. O'Donnell and Geiger will begin the games competing on Team Gylnn tonight at 5 p.m. on ESPNU.
