Men's Basketball to Play NJIT Tuesday

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel Dragons will face the NJIT Highlanders on Tuesday at the Daskalakis Athletic Center. The game tips off at 7 p.m. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Worker's Local 98 is once again the presenting sponsor of Drexel Men's Basketball.
ABOUT DREXEL
The Dragons are 1-3 after losing to the Syracuse Orange, 80-50, on Saturday evening at the Xfinity Mobile Arena as part of the Autumn Invitational. Eli Beard led the team with 13 points. The Dragons and Orange played in the second game of two. Beard also recorded four rebounds, two assists and two steals while playing 32 minutes. Kevon Vanderhorst had nine points, five rebounds, four assists, and a steal. Villiam Garcia Adsten and Shane Blakeney each had seven points. The Dragons held a slight edge over the Orange on boards, corralling 39, while Syracuse to 36 rebounds.
ABOUT NJIT
NJIT is 3-1 to start the year, with wins against Fordham, Loyola Maryland and FDU. They are coached by Grant Billmeier in his third season with the Highlanders. Sophomore Ari Fulton and freshman David Bolden received America East honors for the past week. Bolden also received Rookie of the Week last week.
