Geiger Promoted to Associate Women’s Lacrosse Head Coach

PHILADELPHIA - Katrina Geiger has been promoted to Associate Head Coach of the Drexel women's lacrosse team ahead of the upcoming season.
"Katrina has been a phenomenal mentor and coach to our student athletes from the moment she joined us," said Mary Semanik Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Katie O'Donnell. "Her leadership with the defensive unit and draw team has been pivotal to the success of this program. We are so lucky to have someone like Katrina on our staff and we are thrilled for her to step into this new role."
Geiger has been on the Drexel staff for the last three seasons. The Dragons have posted back-to-back top 15 defenses in the country under her helm. DU allowed just 9.05 goals per game in 2024, which was the 13th best scoring defense in the NCAA. The Drexel Hill, Pa. native helped lead the Dragons to their fourth consecutive NCAA appearance, the first team in school history to accomplish this feat. Belle McHugh was named CAA First-Team a season ago, collecting 31 ground balls and causing 20 turnovers. Camryn Ryan led the team in caused turnovers with 22 and collected a 2025 Preseason All-CAA Team honor.
