Cuocco Named to the Tewaaraton Watch List

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Drexel women's lacrosse goalkeeper Jenika Cuocco has been named to the Tewaaraton Watch List, as announced by the Tewaaraton Foundation Thursday. This is the second consecutive season Cuocco has been featured on the list.
The Tewaaraton Award annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse players in the United States. The selection committees are made up of premier collegiate coaches and are appointed annually by The Tewaaraton Foundation.
The two-time CAA Goalkeeper of the Year has already collected some hardware before the upcoming season. The Sound Beach, New York native was named CAA Preseason Player of the Year, and earned Preseason All-American honors from ILWomen and USA Lacrosse. Cuocco led the nation a season ago in saves (224) and save percentage (.569).
The Dragons open the 2025 season tomorrow as they battle UConn at 1 p.m. in Storrs, Conn., and will host University City foe Penn at Vidas Field on Sunday, February 16 at noon.
