Dragons Shutout Towson in Game Two of Series

How It Happened
Drexel struck early in the top of the first inning. Kylah Reading reached and later came around to score when Kelsie Peters lifted a sacrifice fly to left field, giving the Dragons a 1–0 lead.
Later in the inning, Devyn Demchak stole second and Kalea Calugay came home on the throw to extend the lead to 2–0.
The Dragons' pitching and defense held the Tigers in check the rest of the way. Towson threatened in the middle innings but was unable to break through as Drexel maintained the two-run advantage.
Courtney Kols went the distance in the circle, allowing four hits while holding Towson scoreless across seven innings to secure the win.
By the Numbers
Kelsie Peters finished 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
Kylah Reading went 1-for-4 with a double and scored a run.
Olivia Sciulli and Annabelle Smink each recorded a hit for the Dragons.
Courtney Kols threw a complete-game shutout, allowing four hits with one walk and two strikeouts in 7.0 innings.
Drexel totaled six hits and drew four walks in the victory.
