Men's Basketball to Conclude Regular Season at Hofstra on Tuesday

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – The Drexel men's basketball team will conclude their regular season with a road game against the Hofstra Pride on Tuesday, March 3. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Worker's Local 98 is once again the presenting sponsor of Drexel Men's Basketball.
LAST TIME OUT
The Dragons won a defensive battle over the Campbell Camels, 65-60, on Thursday at the Daskalakis Athletic Center. Shane Blakeney led the team with 22 points. Blakeney was 9-17, including making his final five shots down the stretch. Victor Panov had 13 points on the night in addition to rebounding the ball six times, serving up four assists, blocking two shots and stealing the ball twice. Garfield Turner scored 12 points on 5-6 shooting with five rebounds, tied his career high with three assists and stole the ball once. On the night Drexel held Campbell to 38% shooting and stole the ball seven times. The Dragons shot a season high 90.9% from the free throw line on the night.
ABOUT HOFSTRA
The Pride are 20-10 (11-6 in conference play) after defeating Stony Brook on Saturday. With the win Hofstra has clinched the three seed in the CAA Tournament this weekend. Speedy Claxton leads the Pride in his fifth season in Hempstead. Junior Cruz Davis leads the team with 20.7 points per game.

Hofstra leads the all-time series 52-49 after winning the matchup in January, 70-67.
