Dragons Drop Game Two to Stony Brook, 7–2

PHILADELPHIA – Drexel softball fell to Stony Brook, 7–2, on Saturday afternoon at the Drexel Softball Field. The Dragons moved to 12–11 overall and 2–3 in CAA play.
How It Happened
Stony Brook took an early lead with a two-run home run in the first inning. Drexel answered in the bottom half as Kylah Reading scored on a throwing error to cut the deficit to 2–1.
The Seawolves added a run in the third and broke the game open with three runs in the fourth inning to extend the lead to 6–1. Stony Brook added another run in the fifth.
Drexel plated its second run in the bottom of the fifth inning when Olivia Sciulli delivered an RBI single to score Quinn Cunnigham.
