Men’s Rowing Prepared for Bergen Cup and Navy Dual on Senior Day

PHILADELPHIA — The Drexel men's rowing team is set to compete in a pair of events Saturday on the Schuylkill River. The Dragons will race in the Bergen Cup, followed by a dual meet against Navy.
DU will battle Philadelphia rivals La Salle, Saint Joseph's and Temple before facing off against Navy. Racing begins at 11 a.m. with the Bergen Cup, with competition against the Midshipmen starting at 2:30 p.m.
Drexel will honor the following seven seniors at the Drexel Boathouse: Jono Andersson, Kyle Brown, Quinn Cooney, Sam Duncan, Aidan Ionescu, Logan Lyle and Andrei Malis.
The 3V8+ and 4V8+ both captured gold at last year's Bergen Cup. The Varsity 8+ have won gold at the event in three of the last four seasons.
