2011: Played in all 43 games and made 42 starts during the season while becoming the team’s everyday third baseman…led the team with 82 assists on the season while committing just five errors…ranked third on the team with a .962 fielding percentage…served as a regular pinch-runner, scoring six runs on the season and stealing two bases without being caught.
2010: Settled into a role as the team’s regular shortstop, making 30 starts and playing in 39 games…led the team in defensive assists (84)…second on the team in sacrifice hits…posted personal bests for at-bats, batting average, hits and runs scored this season…hit a two-out RBI single in the seventh inning against James Madison on May 1.
2009: Saw time in 31 games and made 13 starts as a middle infielder…ranked second on the team with five sacrifice hits…drove in three runs, including go-ahead sacrifice bunt against George Mason in 5-4 Drexel victory on April 4 …stole two bases and drove in a run in Drexel’s win over Fairleigh Dickinson on March 8.
Background: Played two seasons of varsity softball at West Chester Henderson and finished her career at Rustin, playing shortstop all four years…earned Honorable Mention All-League honors as freshman at Henderson and followed it was a Second Team All-League selection as a sophomore…named All-Conference First Team as a junior and senior at Rustin and earned All-Area selections both years, including being a First Team All-Area pick as a senior.
Personal: Tim and Jacquelyn DeMirjian…majoring in business administration with a concentration in finance.
