2013: Appeared in 43 games, making 38 starts...split time between shortstop and her regular position in center field...had 23 hits, driving in 10 runs...finished fourth on the team with five sacrifice bunts...scored nine runs...had two hits and drove in two runs against UNC Greensboro on Feb. 25...in all, had five multi-hit games on the season including a 2-for-3 effort against Delaware on March 23.
2012: Batted .310 while starting all 48 games for the Dragons...had six multi-hit games, including three-hit outings against N.C. Central on Mar. 16 and James Madison on Mar. 25...drove in 10 runs on the season...had two triples, both during CAA play against UNCW on Apr. 22 and at Delaware on May 5...drew three walks, stole two bases and scored three runs in a win over Campbell on Mar. 16...had two outfield assists.
2011: Named to CAA All-Rookie Team as an outfielder…led the team in outfield assists with six on the season while starting in 33 games as a rookie…tied for second on the team with nine stolen bases and was never caught stealing…recorded five multi-hit games and assumed the lead-off spot in the lineup for a two-week stretch at midseason…recorded her first career hit and went 2-for-4 against Campbell on Feb. 11.
Background: A First Team All-State centerfielder at Palm Beach Gardens High…helped lead her team to a 6A State Championship as a senior…a two-time All-Area selection and a four-time All-Conference selection…helped her team win a regional championship as a senior and a district championship as a junior…a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Daughter of Daniel and Kathy Ahonkhai…majoring in biology.
