Bio
2012: Started all 48 games for the Dragons...batted .283, including a team-high eight triples...that mark set a new season record for the Dragons...had two triples as part of a 4-for-4 game against Bucknell on Mar 28, scoring three runs...finished second on the team with 25 runs scored...also second on the squad with 12 stolen bases (12-for-16)...had a team-best nine sacrifice bunts...drove in 14 runs on the season, including four in a win over N.C. Central on Mar. 17...also had three RBIs as part of a 2-for-5 day against James Madison on Mar. 25...finished the season with 15 extra base hits.
2011: Posted career highs in batting, slugging and on-base percentage despite missing nearly half the season with an injury…when she returned to the lineup, during the final three weeks of the season, she led the team with 10 hits, six runs and four stolen bases while batting .323 out of the lead-off spot…went 3-for-3 and scored three runs at James Madison on May 6, matching her career highs for hits and runs in a game.
2010: Started in all 35 games in which she played as a freshman…ranked third on the team with 10 stolen bases on 12 attempts…hit safely in the first five games of her career, including a 2-for-4 performance with her first career home run, two RBIs and two runs against Virginia Tech on Feb. 14…hit .300 and led the team in runs and steals during the first two months of the season…made the transition from playing in the outfield to playing shortstop midway through the conference schedule.
Background: A four-year letterwinner at Sahuaro High in Tucson, Ariz….a two-time First Team Southern Arizona All-Star selection…also named First Team All-City and Honorable Mention All-State by the Tucson Citizen…played for the Roadrunner Club Team and served as team captain…also played varsity volleyball and basketball at Sahuaro…a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Daughter of Gary and Susan Parrish…majoring in criminal justice.
