2005: Started at third base and moved to shortstop when Van Wert pitched…second on the team with 84 assists…showed pop at the plate, leading the team with a .393 slugging percentage on three home runs and nine doubles.
2004: One of the team’s MVPs as a freshman...led Dragons in batting average, hits, doubles, walks, RBI, on-base percentage (.361) and slugging (.350)...started all but one game at third base...posted .951 fielding percentage and led team with 103 assists.
Background: Played field hockey, basketball and softball at Egan Catholic...Philadelphia Catholic Softball League Champs in 2001 and 2003...named first-team All-Catholic league for three years...Catholic League Northern Division MVP in 2003...named Bucks County Courier Times Player of the Year...2002 NECA Softball All-Region Team...served as team captain in 2002 and 2003...first team All-Catholic League in field hockey for three years.
Personal: A communication major...daughter of Claire and Chuck Brown...father was on Villanova’s rowing team and uncle played basketball for Delaware.
