2007: Started the season as one of Drexel’s top starters before going down with an injury…threw three straight complete games from March 10 to March 24…struck out a season-high seven batters in a two-hit victory over Rutgers on March 10…posted second best ERA on the team and gave up the fewest earned runs.
Background: Played pitcher and first base for four seasons at Bishop Amat High…named an All-Area honorable mention as a sophomore…twice named All-Serra League First team…a two-time All-Area performer…honored as the team’s MVP after her junior and senior seasons…served as team captain as a junior and senior.
Personal: Daughter of David and Nidia Gomez…majoring in psychology.
