Enters his senior year with 66 goals and 112 points. Is tied for 15th in Drexel history with 46 career assists.
2014: An Honorable Mention All-America as a junior…named a First Team All-CAA performer for the second straight year…finished the year with 25 goals, 21 assists and 46 points…finished fifth in the CAA in assists per game and eighth in points per game…scored the game-winning goal against Towson in the CAA semifinals to put Drexel into the title game…had five points in that game and was named to CAA All-Tournament Team…also had five points in regular season at Towson and vs. Robert Morris…scored a pair of goals and assisted on another in the NCAA Tournament at Penn… handed out three assists in NCAA Quarterfinals against Denver…recorded a goal in 11 straight games at one point…had 10 multiple-goal games and had a hat trick against Penn State.
2013: A First Team All-CAA selection after finishing seventh in the league in points per game…finished his sophomore year with 27 goals, 14 assists and 44 points…was sixth in the league in assists per game and ninth in goals per contest…scored a career-high four goals in Drexel regular-season win against Towson…recorded six hat tricks…set a career-high with five points in the win against Albany and matched it in the next game vs. Villanova…named CAA Co-Player of the Week on March 4 after scoring three times against Robert Morris.
2012: Named the CAA’s Rookie of the Year…also a member of the league’s All-Rookie Team…stared all 16 games…scored 14 goals in his rookie season and also handed out eight assists…had a goal in his first three collegiate games…had a career-best four points with a pair of goals and assists in the loss to Bucknell…also scored twice vs. Towson…picked up three ground balls in the first meeting with UMass.
Background: Graduated from DeMatha in Hyattsville, Md…scored 100 goals in his high school career and also had 61 assists…named Second Team All-WCAC on two occasions…DeMatha won the WCAC title during his freshman and sophomore seasons…was also a four-year member of the soccer team…played defense on a team that went undefeated his senior year and finished third in the country.
Personal: Son of Catherine and Jim Belka...youngest of six children…his father played football at Nebraska…majoring in business.
