Returning starter on defense for the Dragons
2013: Started every game on defense as a junior…forced seven turnovers…had a career-high three ground balls in both games against Towson…finished the season with 18 ground balls…a CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award recipient.
2012: Had a solid sophomore season…came off the bench in all 16 games…caused seven turnovers, including three in the victory against Hofstra…had his first career assist in the win against Delaware…also recorded three ground balls…a CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award recipient.
2011: Appeared in every game during his first year at the school…added depth to the Dragons’ defense…picked up eight ground balls on the year…snared two ground balls against both Notre Dame and Penn State…a CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award recipient.
2010: Sat out the season as a redshirt...a CAA Commissioner's Academic Award recipient.
Background: A two-sport standout at La Salle College High School…played defense on the lacrosse team and was a running back on the gridiron…named Second Team All-Catholic League as a senior…played on the state championship team as both a junior and senior…a Second Honors student at La Salle.
Personal: Son of Eleni Greene and Bradford Houchins…one of five children…his brother Andrew attends Drexel…majoring in business.
