
Women's Lacrosse to Wrap Season Against No. 16 Hofstra on Senior Day

Philadelphia - Drexel women's lacrosse will host No. 16 Hofstra in the Dragons' final game of the regular season on Thursday, April 29 at 4:00 p.m. Prior to the game, Rachael Behrndt, Becca Drylie-Perkins, Krista Gerstenberger, Danielle Iacono, Katie Lawson, Nicole Musto and Mariana Uribe will be honored as part of Senior Day festivities. Drexel enters the game with a 10-6 overall record a 2-4 mark in Colonial Athletic Association play while the Pride sports a 10-5 overall record and a 4-2 mark in the CAA.
Lawson has led the Drexel attack all season long. The senior is tops in the CAA with 47 goals and has also contributed six assists. Classmate Drylie-Perkins has a team-high 10 assists and is second on the team with 33 goals and 43 points. Freshman Alyse Maiden has stepped up in the wake of some late season injuries and has totaled 15 goals and three assists. In goal, Whitney Johnson sports a .504 save percentage, the best in the conference. She also owns the third-best goals against average in the CAA at 9.12.
Corrine Gandolfi is the Pride's leading goal scorer entering the game as she has totaled 42 tallies along with 17 assists. She ranks third in the CAA in points per game at 3.93. Mary Cuddihy sits just behind Johnson on the CAA leaderboard for save percentage as Cuddihy is stopping shots at a .503 clip. She is also one of just two goals to have a goals against average under nine as she will enter the game against Drexel with an 8.91 goals against average.
