Philadelphia - The Drexel women's lacrosse team enters the weekend with a 2-0 record after defeating Saint Joseph's, 14-2, on Wednesday. Assistant Coach Hannah Rudloff and Volunteer Coach Jill Taylor will help lead the Dragons against their alma mater No. 6 Penn on Saturday.
Drexel is 1-5 all-time against Penn. Last season, Drexel dropped its first game of the season as No. 3 Penn broke open a tight game in the second half to pull away with a 14-7 victory. The loss dropped the Dragons to 4-1 on the season while the Quakers, who had gone to the last three NCAA Final Fours, moved to 1-0. Charlotte Wood had a pair of goals in the loss, along with scores by Katie Blazer and Sam Berger.
