Women’s Lacrosse Faces Saint Mary’s (Calif.) on Sunday

Philadelphia - Drexel women's lacrosse hosts Saint Mary's College in the fifth straight home contest on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Vidas Field. Drexel enters the weekend 5-2 after falling to California, 9-8, on Wednesday.
Drexel leads the all-time series 1-0. Last season was the first match-up between the two squads. Charlotte Wood poured in five goals including the first three of a five-goal run that helped Drexel to a 16-8 victory over Saint Mary's.
Saint Mary's improved to 2-4 on the season after a 9-8 win over Lafayette last Sunday. The Gaels also defeated Fresno State, 15-4. Sophomores Jillian Chong and Mariah Walk lead Saint Mary's in goals scored. The Gaels will take on Saint Joseph's Saturday, March 26 at 1:00 p.m. before visiting Vidas Field.
