Philadelphia - Drexel women's lacrosse hosts 12th-ranked James Madison on Friday at 4:00 p.m. at Vidas Field. The Dragons enter the weekend with an 8-4 overall and 2-2 in conference play after falling to William & Mary, 15-9, last Sunday. Drexel is 5-2 at Vidas Field.
James Madison leads the all-time series 9-0. Last season, Drexel dropped a 19-7 decision to 10th-ranked James Madison in the Dragons' first Colonial Athletic Association road game of the season. Becca Drylie-Perkins led the Dragons with three goals. Goalkeeper Whitney Johnson posted eight saves, while teammate Rachael Behrndt made four stops for Drexel.
James Madison improved to 10-3 on the season after a 9-5 win over Delaware last Sunday. The Dukes defeated nationally ranked No. 15 Princeton, No. 17 William & Mary, and No. 20 Virginia Tech this season. Sophomore attacker Casey Ancarrow leads the team with 31 goals.
