
Softball Heads South to Compete in Rebel Games

ORLANDO - The Drexel softball team is set to compete at the Rebel Games which will take place in Orlando, Fla. from March 9-13. Drexel will play 10 games over the five day span and will take on Holy Cross, Florida A&M, and Hampton twice each during the tournament, while also playing single games against Sacred Heart, Creighton, Rider, and Bucknell.
LAST TIME OUT
The Dragons went 2-0 at the Lady Pirate Classic with a 1-0 win over North Carolina A&T on Saturday and a 10-5 victory over Hampton on Sunday. The Dragons have won their last five consecutive games and are now 5-3 on the season.
STAT LEADERS
Paula Ueno leads the Dragons with a .444 batting average in 18 at-bats, while Kimberly Chan follows closely behind with a .409 average in 22 at-bats. Pitchers Taylor L. Lee and Katie Haley each have two wins a piece, while Tara Konopka secured her first win of the season against Hampton last Sunday.
