HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. - PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel field hockey team played Hofstra in a non-conference game on Wednesday afternoon and lost, 5-2, to the Pride. Drexel is now 3-4 this season.

The Dragons got back in the game in the third quarter with a pair of goals. Emily Owens scored on a rebound for her first goal of the season to get the Dragons on the board. After Hofstra added a fourth goal, Drexel's Liz Chipman set up Gabriella Martina to make it a 4-2 game.
