TOWSON. Md. - The Drexel men's lacrosse team opens Colonial Athletic Association play on Saturday at Towson. The Dragons are 3-3 entering conference play after an impressive win against nationally-ranked Saint Joseph's last weekend.
About Drexel
The Dragons split their last two games in the Philly Classic. Drexel lost to No. 14 Villanova in a game played at Saint Joseph's on Wednesday. On Saturday, Jack Mulcahy scored five times and Ross Blumenthal made 16 saves as the Dragons defeated No. 17 Saint Joseph's, 18-16, at Franklin Field.
About Towson
The Tigers are also playing their CAA opener today. Towson is just 1-5 coming into the game but has played a difficult schedule. Three of the Tigers' losses have come to nationally-ranked teams, including a 19-12 loss on Saturday to Virginia.

Drexel returns to Vidas Field next Saturday to face Hampton. It will be the first meeting between the Dragons and the Pirates. Hampton joined the league prior to the 2022-23 academic year.
