PHILADELPHIA - Drexel hosts non-conference foe, San Diego State from Vidas Field on Tuesday afternoon. The Dragons look for their seventh win of the season and sixth at home.
About the Dragons
Drexel is now 6-3 and 1-1 in CAA play after defeating William & Mary on Saturday, 13-7. Five Dragons scored in the contest and Saundra Godshall earned a team-leading four assists against the Tribe. Corinne Bednarik found the 100th goal of her career on her third score of the game early in the third quarter. Jenika Cuocco stopped eight shots, picked up two ground balls in the victory, and was named the CAA Rookie of the Week for the third time this season.
Bednarik leads the Dragons with 25 goals and 11 assists for 35 points. Bridget Finley has 20 goals and seven assists and Hayleigh Simpson has earned 19 scores and three helpers for Drexel. Senior attacker, Grace Harding has scored 18 times and picked up an assist.
About San Diego State
The Aztecs come to Philadelphia with a 5-6 record. SDSU won against Lindenwood on Saturday, 15-9. Deanna Balsama had five goals and Emma Betts earned a hat trick. Caitlin Jones added two tallies for the Aztecs. Sam Horan played all 60 minutes in the cage and made 14 stops.

This is the second matchup between the two teams. Last season, Drexel won the inaugural contest in overtime 15-14 from San Diego.

The Dragons travel to Stony Brook on Sunday, April 2 in a rematch from last year's NCAA First Round tournament contest. This will be the first meeting between the two teams as members of the CAA. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. on FloLive($).
