Men's Lacrosse Falls to Saint Joseph's, 15-6

PHILADELPHIA - Max Semple scored three goals, but Drexel lost at cross-town rival Saint Joseph's on Sunday, 15-6. With the loss, the Dragons record is now even at 3-3.
The Hawks broke open a 2-2 game by going on a 10-1 run from the last six minutes of the first quarter through the third quarter. The Dragons were held to just one goal over a span of more than 22 minutes as the Hawks (2-3) took control of the game.
Semple scored the first two Drexel goals of the game and added another in the fourth quarters. Zach Augustine, Conor Hooley and Liam Kammar had the Dragons other goals. Connor Beals had a solid game in the loss. The graduate student won 13 of his 18 face-off attempts. Kammar had six ground balls to lead the team. Drew McGill started in the cage and made 13 saves before being replaced late in the game by Brendan Donnelly.
Carter Page scored three times in the first quarter to give the Hawks the lead. He ended the game with four goals, as did teammate Matt Bohmer. Levi Anderson also finished with four points.
Drexel starts conference play on Saturday against Towson at Vidas Field.
