One of Drexel’s captains and leaders on defense…A starter and core member of the defense as a junior…one of the hardest workers on the team.
2008: Started 16 games on a defense that was ranked seventh in the nation in scoring defense…had 21 ground balls, including three at Lafayette.
2007: Played in every game…picked up nine ground balls…had two ground balls against four opponents.
2006: Played in limited time as a freshman…appeared in four games…had two ground balls in the win vs. Saint Joseph's.
Background: Attended Annapolis High School…was a four-year lacrosse letterwinner at Annapolis, where he was a key member of the state championship team…also played three years of football in high school…played tight end, guard and linebacker.
Personal: Son of Laura and Russell Baker…majoring in construction management.
